Hi! I’m April! First let me start by saying thank you for coming to my little space on the web! I’m so excited that you’re here! On Mother’s Day 2010, my husband of 20 years, Jim, bought me my first set of golf clubs. They’re PINK! He was so excited that I showed an interest and I was eager to learn how to play this game that he loved so much. Well, much to both our surprise, I LOVED IT!
After a few trips to the range we finally played a real game. I was so terribly nervous! We live in the heart of a retirement community, and golf is… well, to say “popular” is an understatement! It’s what ALL they do!!! So, the idea of having a group of old guys on my tail as I’m trying to “just keep it in the fairway” is nerve wracking! Nonetheless, I did it. And I think Jim is actually proud of my sticktoitiveness.
